From Reef to Remote

Two Conferences, One Vision

We've complied responses to common questions to assist with planning and attendance. If you require further information not covered here, please contact us.

If I am a MED NORRTH member, can I attend the North Queensland Physicians' Conference?

There will be a joint session, breakouts and networking, however, you must attend the conference you registered for.

If I am an RACP member, can I attend the MED NORRTH Conference?

There will be a joint session, breakouts and networking, however, you must attend the conference you registered for.

Can I attend the event virtually and will it be recorded?

Unfortunately attendance is only available in person and the event will not be recorded.

Do you offer a refund if I've paid for the conference but can no longer attend?

If you need to cancel your registration, please notify the RACP as soon as possible by phone on 02 9256 5444 and email at events@racp.edu.au. If you have paid a registration fee and you notify the RACP of a cancellation by email: (i) more than 60 days prior to the first day of the Event, RACP will refund the registration fee in full; (ii) at least 60 days, and more than 20 days, prior to the first day of the Event, the RACP will refund 80% of the registration fee; or (iii) less than 20 days prior to the first day of the Event, no refund will be payable by the RACP. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person without incurring any penalty. The College must be advised of the transfer in writing. Please email the name, position, phone and email address of the new delegate to events@racp.edu.au. There will be no refunds for any items purchased by the original delegate.

Is there preferred accommodation I can book?

There are no special accommodation arrangements made for conference attendees. However, delegates are able to join Crystalbrook Riley's 'Crowd' program (which is free) and gives registrants a minimum 10% discount on their accommodation and at the restaurants. For more information click here.

Will food be provided at the conference?

Yes, full day catering will be provided, including arrival tea/coffee, morning tea, working lunch, afternoon tea and networking refreshments. Please ensure you let us know of any dietary requirements as part of your registration.

I am an RACP trainee, will I be able to present a case, clinical audit, or research project at the conference?

Thank you for your interest in submitting an abstract for presentation. We will be accepting abstract submissions until the deadline, COB Friday 24 July 2026. After this date, all abstracts will be reviewed, and successful registrants will be notified shortly thereafter.
